Facing the Future with Hope (FFHN) founders have been certified as a national leader by the Department of Homeland Security in CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) to gleen, lead and assess criminal intelligence data in the event of tragedy and the wake of disaster.
FFHN has worked with the Arizona Center for Disability Law as well as the ACLU. The work, i.e. training i.e. not limited to education and disemination of information that has prepared FFHN leadership to now work and partner autonmously with PeachTree Media (@PTree Media). This partnership includes working to help educate various publics and various- sized groups on the trilogy of mental illness and suicide prevention in the work place. Our goals includes:
1) eradicating the stigma associated with mental illness through strategically-planned efforts using the media
2) helping lower recidivism
Those affected most by suicide include states like Utah, the LGBTQ community, and those affected by latent trauma such as the recent death of a loved one and those affected by unfortunate mass shootings.
Just like GLADD’s work in the media includes positive images of the LGBTQ community, PeachTree's convergence through its partnership with Facing the Future with Hope Now will educate through the media to re-work the perception of those with mental illness including clinical depression and PTSD.
We will use the media to give the publics it serves nationally and world-wide tools i.e. healthy family development, psycho-education, media-based community efforts, as well as through the management and dissemination of its perceptions. The convergence will work targeting distribution of both print and non-print media to help prevent suicide with the most vulnerable populations.
Those in the public eye, youths, women and African-Americans men. We use case-based strategies to integrate evidence-based intervention that curves stigma while promoting educational truths through entertainment by launching a world-wide campaign beginning in places like Genoa City, Wisconsin and several other well-known fictional places around the world.
FFHN's partnership with PeachTree Media (@PTree Media) plans to execute the idea of doing a limited to permanent series/special around the framework of TBN and Y&R to help uplift CBS and Daytime family inclusive to cast: actors, producers, as well as fan-view where we talk about Y&R of course but present and use educational tools regarding depressive disorders, family dynamic etc. to uplift, educate and entertain its publics.
FFHN, along with https://twitter.com/PTreeMedia is looking forward to sharing expertise and real-world methods on and behind the scenes.
We have high hopes the US will lead the world by example.
In experience FFHN and @PTree Media have developed years of real-word practice. We will guide and continue to be inspired through the wake of unfortunate tragedy.
As innovators FFHN along with PeachTree Media (@PTree Media) have the intentions of bringing these fresh ideas and old strategies to the Sony and Y&R family. Facing the Future with Hope Now along with PeachTree Media has a focus of learning and social change.
As forerunners of this movement we are in agreement that it is through the power of the implentation of new images that this vision will be executed.
